The Into Thin Air Drift Party on Memorial Day Weekend at Pikes Peak International Raceway is going to be a huge party for car enthusiasts featuring Formula Drift Pro-Am Southwest Drift, Drift Colorado, PPIR Open Drift and Saturday Night Drags!
Motorcycle Parking and Rules:
-None of the driving activities allow motorcycles.
-There will be a dedicated motorcycle parking area. ALL MOTORCYCLES MUST PARK IN THE SECURED MOTORCYCLE PARKING AREA.
-Motorcycles are NOT ALLOWED to be driven around the property for any reason.
-If you are returning to your motorcycle at any point during the event it should be because you are leaving the property.
Pit Bike / Quad / Scooter / etc. Rules:
-Pit bikes, quads, scooters, or similar transportation vehicles are NOT ALLOWED unless pre-approved by PPIR.
-ONLY staff and organizers of the event (Southwest Drift, Drift Colorado, and PPIR) may be approved for the use of such vehicles within the facility.

ALL SOUTHWEST DRIFT PRO-AM AND DRIFT COLORADO DRIVERS, DRIFT TEAMS/ CREW, FAMILY, FANS, SPECTATORS (ANYONE OTHER THAN SWD AND DC STAFF) ARE SUBJECT TO THE BELOW SPECTATOR/GATE FEES. IF A DRIVER IS PARTICIPATING IN FRIDAY NIGHT PRACTICE, ONLY THE DRIVER FEE IS DUE. IF A DRIVER IS COMPETING WITH SWD PRO-AM ON SATURDAY OR DC ON SUNDAY, THE $10 PER DAY FEE AT THE FRONT GATE OF PPIR IS DUE OR THE DRIVER MAY PURCHASE THE WEEKEND SPECTATOR/GATE PASS (SEE BELOW).
ANY DRIVER THAT IS NOT A REGISTERED COMPETITOR WITH SWD PRO-AM MUST EMAIL JARED@PPIR.COM TO BE CLEARED TO PARTICIPATE IN FRIDAY NIGHT DRIFT PRACTICE.

Vehicle Preparation: PPIR will not be inspecting vehicles prior to entering the racing surface. It is the responsibility of each individual to make certain that his or her vehicle is track worthy. The following items should be thoroughly inspected/set before arriving to the raceway:
ALL DRIVERS PARTICIPATING IN PPIR OPEN DRIFT ACTIVITIES AND SATURDAY NIGHT DRAGS WILL BE PROVIDED A TECH CARD THAT MUST BE FILLED OUT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND SIGNED BY THE DRIVER.
ü Tires in good condition (tread depth, sidewalls clear of damage, valve stems, etc.)
ü Tire pressures are properly set (refer to vehicle manufacturer settings)
ü All lug nuts are torqued and present (refer to vehicle manufacturer specifications)
ü Hubcaps and trimmings (if not secured by lug nuts) are removed from vehicle
ü No play in wheel bearings
ü Minimal play in steering linkage
ü Brake system in good condition (pads, rotors, lines, etc.)
ü Fluid levels are set (Engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering, coolant, brake fluid, etc.)
ü No fluid leaks from the vehicle of any kind
ü Fuel level is set (Arrive to the track with a full tank! Refueling may be required during lunch.)
ü Vehicle is free of loose items (including the trunk)
ü Battery is properly secured
ü No exposed electrical wires
ü Hoses and lines are securely fastened and routed properly and safely
ü Fully functional seat belts in good condition (factory stock or better required)
