TRACK SPRINTS

Track Sprints is a larger, timed, fast-paced road course, using the infield portion of our track in various layouts. Drivers will have the opportunity to push themselves and their vehicle to the limit. All runs will be single car, timed laps, from Point A to Point B. Drivers must be 16 years or older with a valid drivers license. Helmets are required for Track Sprints. Passengers are allowed; however, they must remain in the front passenger seat and be 12 years or older. This series is open to drivers of all skill levels in any type of vehicle with any drivetrain.

GYMKHANA

PPIR’s Gymkhana is a short, timed, slower-speed course that the driver must correctly memorize to complete in the fastest time possible. This event creates an exhilarating environment, combining grip and drift driving while including many different driving techniques; these may include 180 degree turns, 360 degree turns, figure 8’s, and other fun features. This series is open to drivers of all skill levels in any type of vehicle with any drivetrain. “Drifting” is not a requirement in order to compete in Gymkhana. It is up to the driver, based on their specific vehicle and skill, to decide how much sliding versus grip driving is required in order to finish the course as fast as possible. Drivers must be 16 years or older with a valid drivers license. Helmets are required for Gymkhana. Passengers are allowed; however, they must remain in the front passenger seat and be 12 years or older.

OFF THE STREET DRAGS

Off the Street Drags is an 1/8th mile drag strip, giving drivers the opportunity to test their vehicle’s raw acceleration and speed. This grudge-style form of racing allows drivers to compete side by side against others and the clock. Drivers must be 16 years or older with a valid drivers license. Helmets are NOT required for Off the Street Drags unless the driver is faster than 7.0 seconds. Passengers are allowed; however, they must remain in the front passenger seat and be 12 years or older. This series is open to drivers of all skill levels in any type of vehicle with any drivetrain.
